    Hillcrest/Pelican Rapids Girls Defeat Minnewaska Area

    The Hillcrest/Pelican Rapids girls soccer team scored two goals in each half as they turned back the Minnewaska Area Lakers 4-1 on Thursday afternoon in Fergus Falls.

    “Minnewaska came out hard and really put the pressure on us,” reported Head Coach Cara Kline. “They scored the first goal to take the lead and that really hypes a team up.  However, we didn’t give up.
