Hillcrest Academy provides a varied athletic program
that serves as an important teaching tool for life. The
coaching staff believes in developing the
three-dimensional athlete. Not only do sports
participants spend time on academic and physical
preparation, but time for spiritual growth and
development is also emphasized.
If you have any questions about
athletics at Hillcrest, please contact Charlie Brue,
Athletic Director. 218-739-1208. Email at
cbrue@ffhillcrest.org

Home School Students (10-11) who
wish to participate on a varsity Hillcrest sports team must
first register their home school with the Minnesota
State High School League for each sport in which they
would like to participate. Then the home school may
apply for a cooperative agreement with Hillcrest which
will be sent to MSHSL for approval. This must be done
before the sports season starts. Home school students
(grades 10-11) will be allowed to participate on a
varsity team after the MSHSL approval. Students in grade 12 must be attending
Hillcrest in order to participate.
The Home School athletic fee for Junior
High students is $150. For High School students (9-12)
the fee is $250.
IMPORTANT! Before a student will be allowed to
practice for any sport they must pay their sports fee
($125 high school, $75 junior high) and turn in the
following forms:
For students who are transferring to
Hillcrest, please download the Transfer Form (pdf)
and have the Athletic Director from your previous school
fill it out and return it to Hillcrest.
