The junior high musical is quickly approaching! I Witness News: Live From Jericho, directed by Mrs. Mathison, starts performances next week! Information was sent home with the students today (Monday), so ask them for it if you havent seen it already. The students will be performing this musical five times next week. The dates are Wednesday, March 14 at 9:45 and 7:00; Thursday, March 15 at 9:30 and 7:00; and Friday, March 16 at 1:00. Seats for family/community are available at the two evening performances and the Friday afternoon performance. The other two performances are for our Hillcrest students and Morning Son Christian School. Please plan to attend (and bring your family and friends) and see the wonderful job our junior high students are doing. What a great ministry opportunity we have! We still need some parent volunteers to help with supervising during the five performances. If you can help, please call the school and get in touch with Mrs. Mathison. Your help is greatly appreciated.
7th Grade World Geography students A note from Mrs. Howe - 7th graders will be participating in the exciting world of geography through the pages of fiction over the course of spring (4th ) quarter. We will have regular reading assignments from the novel Around the World in Eighty Days, some of which we hope to accomplish during our time in class. As for the rest, I am asking parents to help their student to stay up-to-date and be reading at home in their free time. I hope to get a schedule of the reading assignments to the students as we begin this novel. We will also be doing some fun, interactive assignments to go along with this novel. Thanks for all you do to help your child be successful in their academic pursuits.
