Do you have
a policy with Thrivent Financial for Lutherans?
If
so, your
donations made to Hillcrest Lutheran Academy can be
supplemented by Thrivent
Financial for Lutherans.
Hillcrest
is enrolled as a recipient organization with Thrivent
Financial. Thrivent contributes $1 for every $2 donated by
policy holders to Hillcrest Lutheran Academy through a
matching program called
GivingPlus.
- Thrivent
will contribute $1 for every $2 donated up to $600. For
example, a $50 gift will be supplemented with an
additional $25 from Thrivent. A gift of $600 will receive an
additional $300 from Thrivent.
- You may
use a current giving program that Hillcrest has
established, such as the $1000 Club or $500 Club, or “Save
Me a Seat” project. If you give $1,000 to enroll in the
$1000 Club, Thrivent will add a $300 gift (since they will
only supplement to a maximum of $300). If you purchase a
“seat” for $200, Thrivent will provide an additional $100
gift to Hillcrest.
- Each
calendar year, you may give a gift and receive the same
benefit. Your gifts will accumulate over the
calendar year, so
that we receive a maximum amount of the supplemental gift
from Thrivent.
The key to
this great matching program is in your filling out a simple
GivingPlus form and sending it to Hillcrest. If designating
your gift, please state designation in the check memo or
with a note.
