When I was in 9th grade a military band came to our high school and put on a concert. In about the middle of the concert the director turned and asked our high school band director if he would come and direct the next piece. He walked up, took the baton, and led the military band in John Philip Sousa's Stars and Stripes Forever. Later the next week, when our high school band was practicing we asked our director what it was like to lead the military band. All he said was, "They were so well rehearsed. All I had to do was pick up the baton and give them the beat." I feel that same way now.

This staff, under President Brue, is so well rehearsed that all I have to do is pick up the baton and they will play the piece. They will play the piece, the staff here at Hillcrest, so well. And we will rejoice as a new director comes on to lead us in the next part of this concert.

I serve the Board of Directors at Hillcrest Lutheran Academy. They have this vision to say what Jesus said when he told the disciples to, "Feed my sheep and tend my lambs." We are equipping students to live a life of eternal significance. Thank you for your prayers.
