Amy Twedt is our school registrar and comes to us with a wealth of varied experiences. No stranger to HLA she has previously taught Math, Bible and Business classes on our campus. She received her Master's degree in Business Administration through Regis College and her undergraduate Business degree from North Dakota State University. Former employment includes work in the financial and investment field as a Certified Financial Planner and she is currently the Executive Director of God's Children Adoption Agency, Inc. Amy has a heart of compassion for orphans and those in underprivileged situations. She spent 6 months at a school in Port au Prince, Haiti as co-principal and teacher. She continues to teach a distance-learning program with students in Haiti who are working toward their English high school diplomas. For the past year, they have hosted four of these young Haitian men who are pursuing college degrees at M-State in Fergs Falls.
She and her husband, Roger, have adopted 10 of their 12 children from all over the world: South Korea, Marshall Islands, Liberia, Haiti, and through the foster care system. 11 of these has graduated from, or is currently enrolled at HLA. Amy is uniquely equipped to assist and support the myriad of diverse students that we are blessed with each year.
