Amy received her undergraduate Business degree from North Dakota State University and her Master's degree in Business Administration through Regis College.
Former employment includes work in the financial and investment field as a Certified Financial Planner and she is currently the Executive Director of God's Children Adoption Agency, Inc. Amy has a heart of compassion for orphans and those in underprivileged situations. She spent 6 months at a school in Port au Prince, Haiti as co-principal and teacher. She continues to teach a distance-learning program with students in Haiti who are working toward their English high school diplomas. In past years, she and her family have hosted four Haitian students who pursue college degrees at M-State in Fergus Falls.
She and her husband, Roger, have adopted 10 of their 12 children from all over the world, from countries such as South Korea, Marshall Islands, Liberia, Haiti, and through the foster care system. Eleven of these have graduated from, or are attending Hillcrest. Amy is uniquely equipped to assist and support the myriad of diverse students that Hillcrest is blessed to receive each year.
