You Lost Me.

"For the next generation, the lines between right and wrong, between truth and error, between Christian influence and cultural accomodation are increasingly blurred...they are a generation prepared to be not merely hearers of the doctrine but doers of faith; they want to put their faith into action, not just talk."
~David Kinnaman

Two weeks ago, students attended a field experience at the Occupy Wallstreet Protests in Minneapolis, MN. The debrief time from this experience created enough energy to power an entire city. Hillcrest students care about their world and want to be active in bringing light to it.

In the midst of their passion to be culturally relevant, they also need Biblical-discipleship. Check out the most recent posting in the Principal's Desk Blog this week as we navigate some of the findings from Barna Research in David Kinnaman's book You Lost Me.

One Word

As part of an ongoing push to show parents Hillcrest, we have taken up a new video project titled "ONE WORD".

A student video project designed to post feedback and student impressions from the school day, ONE WORD is your glimpse into the halls and minds of the students as they process their Hillcrest experience.

Please feel free to share these videos with friends and relatives. They can be viewed on our Facebook, Twitter, and website pages.
