A Heart for the Dominican

Missions is at the heart of the Hillcrest program. In many of our videos, the closing tag line is "Live.Learn.Go." We believe that students who live together and learn about the world from a Biblically-based Christ-centered perspective are prepared to go into the world and redeem the lost and fallen culture back to Christ.

The above video is a link to the Principal's blog where you can watch a video of the commissioning service for the Dominican Republic mission team. This mission-based field experience is a chance for students to communicate Christ in a cross-cultural situation with a community that Hillcrest has adopted and committed to pray for.

Please join us in praying for the Dominican Mission team as they travel bringing the word of Christ as the good news to their soon-to-be friends. You can follow updates from the Mission team on the Hillcrest Academy Twitter account.

Next week many of us will be gearing up for a time honored tradition around the dinner table. Preparations will be made for serving family members and connecting with loved ones. While we're focusing on this season of thanksgiving, please remember to pray for our Dominican mission team as they will be traveling home on Thanksgiving day.

They are going to bring the good news of Christ, something to be truly thankful for. Please follow the team on Twitter. They will be sending periodic updates throughout the week.
