Kinnaman is hosting a full-day training session, which Principal Isaac is planning to attend. Read a blog article from the Principal's Blog Archive to watch a short video of Mr. Kinnaman and hear some of the thoughts coming out of Principal Isaac's office.

Students Share Testimonies at Fields of Faith

Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) trains students. More than sports camps and athletic training, students who participate in FCA grow in Biblical knowledge and spiritual accountability.

Hillcrest Academy's FCA club is organized by History professor and Men's Basketball Coach Gregg Preston. Club meetings are held at his home, two city blocks away from Hillcrest Academy. The meetings are directed by Mr. Preston as he mentors students to know God's Word and make it known.

Last Wednesday Hillcrest's FCA participated in a nation-wide event titled Fields of Faith. Gathering with hundreds of public school and private school students participating in FCA, Hillcrest students shared testimony of God's loving kindness and omniscient plan.

From the Desk of the President

More than a Football game. That is President Brue's take on homecoming weekend 2013. Watching students dress-up in ridiculous outfits, cheer-on friends with fantastic passion and join together in prayer and respect for their Lord, Mr. Brue was encouraged by the overall unity created through the student leadership at this year's homecoming festivities.

Students for Life Club Offers School-wide Opportunity

Hillcrest's Students for Life America (SFLA) club is participating in the 40 Days for Life campaign. As part of the campaign the school is offering a prayer vigil opportunity to the Hillcrest community on Sunday Oct. 14 and 28 from 3:30-8:30pm.

Hillcrest's SFLA club is offering a bus for parents and students to attend the prayer vigil at the Fargo Women's Clinic, which conducts weekly abortions. The evening will provide a time of prayer and singing with a time of debrief following the prayer time.

If a family would like to participate in either of these prayer vigils please email Wayne Stender ( to communicate how many will attend.
