Gathering in Hillcrest's historic chapel is a group of students going through a nearly century long tradition. With sunkissed cheeks the students have a certain glow. Their shirts read, "Live. Learn. Go.", a motto at Hillcrest that will grow real through explanations of Hillcrest's culture, explained during orientation.
In the Principal's Desk this week you will read about the opening of orientation and how Hillcrest's mission statement impacts the campus. You'll also have the opportunity to watch Mr. Isaac's address to the student body on the first day of school.

Comet Football Makes Statement
Providing 381 yards of total offense is a great way to start the season. Hillcrest had little trouble establishing home field advantage after Senior Chris Tungseth scampered for a first down on a fake punt, capitalizing on what seemed to be a quick 3-and-out opening drive to start the 2015 football season. Scoring on the first drive of the season, the Comets established their 2015 season and cruised to an opening night win.
Hillcrest highlights are watched countless times by parents and grandparents throughout the year. Hillcrest's marketing team created two highlights communicating some of the excitement surrounding move-in day and the first week of classes.
Hillcrest is excited to welcome Mr. Ryan Garvin to the classroom. Ryan is working alongside Mr. Gregg Preston in the History department.
Ryan's passion is guiding students to see Jesus. In writing his bio he noted, “God has sharpened my desire to come alongside others in a mentoring capacity as I have intentionally surrounded myself with mentors of my own.”
