Temperance Shows Loves :: You Are What You Love

Temperance is an exercise in showing the God being served. If temperance is void in pleasure seeking, it is easy to see submission to pleasure. If temperance is acted in pleasure, it shows that there is something greater than self-gratification that is driving the person. Temperance shows habits. Habits show the heart. The heart shows love. Humans are what they love. Temperance is a practice in love, and at Hillcrest that practice is rooted in Biblical training. Read the full article here>>

Centennial Sightings

E.M. Broen became president of the Lutheran Brethren Bible School in 1903. Broen would later become a driving force in the creation of the high school department in 1916. Through the start of the Bible school it is clear to see the mission heart that would later be a driving force in Hillcrest Academy. Read the Full Story>>
