Elizabeth was born and raised in Fergus Falls, graduating from Kennedy High School in 2009. She obtained credit for her generals at M-State in town before transferring to MSU-Moorhead to complete her B.S. degree in Math Education in 2014.
Throughout college, Elizabeth volunteered at Crossroads Church working with junior high students and at Triumph East in Moorhead with senior high students. She continued her ministry to young people during the summer by serving as a counselor at I-Point Bible Camp for three years. I-Point is where she met Charlie, whom she married in 2014. Together with her husband, Elizabeth has served in ministry to both college-aged and high school students.
This is Elizabeth’s first year teaching math at Hillcrest and she is excited to be part of a team where sharing your faith is as natural as teaching your subject.
She and Charlie live in Fergus with their dog, Jedediah. They love spending time outdoors, engaged in their favorite activities, such as trap shooting, camping, fishing, and playing softball or winter months ice skating or cozied-in for game nights.
