Comets Lose First Game but Look Forward to the Rest of the Season

The Comets suffered a disappointing loss to Parkers Prairie Tuesday night (Dec.16) with a final score of 65-61. This is their first loss and they are now 5-1. Jake Isaac led the scoring for Hillcrest with 30 points and Ben Herzog contributed another 15. "Parkers Prairie shot the ball very well and out rebounded us by a wide margin,” said Coach Preston. “They played with more aggressiveness and a quick start by the Panthers made an uphill battle insurmountable." The boys won't have another game before Christmas, but will host Norman County East/Ulen-Hitterdal on Tuesday Dec. 30.
