The Lady Comets played hard on Tuesday night (Dec. 16). The first part of the game was great, but the Henning Hornets came back after the half to steal the win. "We had a great start and then we just ran out of gas," said Coach Brue. Overall, the girls made 35% of their shots, but had 29 turnovers. Megan Aasness led the pack with 9 points and 3 steals. Following close behind were Lydia Tostenson with 8 points and 5 rebounds, Laura Tungseth with 7 points and 3 assists, and Emma Royce with 4 points, 7 rebounds, and 3 steals. The Comets put forth much effort and it was a disappointing loss. They will have one more chance to play before Christmas break Thursday night (Dec. 18) against the Rothsay Tigers.
