The Comet boys scored 55 points in the second half, rolling to another victory. At 16-2, the Comets sit closely behind Battle Lake and look forward to a likely match-up versus the conference rivals.
In avenging their December 16th loss the Comets shot 65%, scoring 33 points in the first half while holding Parkers Prairie to 17. "We were able to set the tone early tonight," noted Coach Gregg Preston. "Our defense, transition, and passing helped to create a lot of good looks."
Jake Isaac led the team, shooting 16 of 21 from the floor as he scored 38 points and contributed 9 rebounds and 5 assists. Chris Tungseth added 19 and Ben Herzog followed-up his strong game against Rothsay with 11 points.
The Comets face Hawley on Saturday at five o'clock in the Fargo Civic Center.
