HILLCREST OPEN HOUSE
Hillcrest started training high school students in 1916. For more than 100 years the Lord has used the passion of teachers and staff at Hillcrest to give students a Biblical view of the world. In 2017 Hillcrest found an enhancement to their program.
For the past century Hillcrest taught students to thinking Biblically about the world. In this there was specific training in understanding and processing information to rest on Truth. In 2017 Hillcrest formally took a significant step in their training program in offering a Classical Christian Junior High program. This program, beginning in 7th grade, enhances the foundation of thought and logic, giving Hillcrest students a stronger bedrock to build and understand ideas.
This intentional addition to the Hillcrest experience is also guiding the engagement of Hillcrest’s high school program, giving strong pictures and vocabulary to what high school students experience at Hillcrest.
In communicating the dynamic enhancements to the program, Hillcrest offering an open house for the community. The open house will communicate how students significantly benefit from a faith-based education that links knowledge and virtue. Attendees will learn about Hillcrest’s program, walking through a brief class schedule to meet instructors and hear their approach to their disciplines. Students will also hear how Hillcrest faculty equip students for college and foster faith-formation in each class and every extra-curricular activity.
Attendees will be entered into a drawing for a free semester of tuition at Hillcrest. They will also receive a voucher to waive the enrollment and reenrollment fees.
