At Hillcrest, we thoughtfully consider each applicant as a potential member of our school family. In our admissions process, we look not only at academic readiness but also at how each student might contribute and grow within the Hillcrest community.
As a distinctly Christian school, our student body is primarily made up of families who are committed to following Jesus Christ and value faith formation as part of their child's education. While this is central to our mission, we do accept a limited number of students—fewer than 9% of our total enrollment—who may not come from a Christian background but are open to learning from a biblical perspective and willing to engage respectfully in our Christ-centered environment.
How to Apply
Our application process is simple and fully online. We encourage families to use the Online Application system, which streamlines the process and allows you to track your admission status after submission.
Application Fees
A non-refundable application fee must be submitted for each student:
Preschool – Grade 5: $90
Grades 6 – 12: $135

Application Process
Step 1
Click the "Apply to Hillcrest" button below to create a profile and complete the application online.
Step 2
After the application has been submitted, placement tests will be administered for grades Kindergarten-12th.
Step 3
PS-5th Grade: Upon completion of the application and placement assessments, a Hillcrest representative will arrange an interview with at least one parent/guardian and the principal.
6-12th Grade: Upon completion of an application, your references will be emailed a reference form. Once all references have been submitted to Hillcrest and placement assessments have been administered, a parent and student interview will be arranged with the principal.
Step 4
Following the interview, Hillcrest Academy will contact the applicant to communicate the status of the application.
