“Educating is not the learning of facts, but the training of the mind to think.”
Middle School (Grades 6-8)
The middle school years are a time of growth and discovery. Students begin asking deeper questions about who they are, what they believe, and how they should live. At Hillcrest, we guide them through this important season with a Christ-centered, classical education.
In our classrooms, students learn more than facts—they learn to think clearly, speak confidently, and seek truth. We integrate the study of literature, history, science, math, and the arts with God’s Word, showing how all knowledge connects under His design.
Middle school is also when students begin formal logic, sharpening their reasoning and communication skills. Through Socratic discussions and engagement with the Great Books, they practice wrestling with big ideas and expressing their beliefs with wisdom and grace.
In a rapidly changing world, classical Christian education equips students to be thoughtful, grounded, and ready to lead.
